Wildlife Information
We are passionate about preserving our Natural History and protecting our wildlife.
Please read our wildlife welfare codes, and guides for photography.
Should you find an injured or abandoned creature, firstly do not disturb it unless it needs to be moved to a place of safety, i.e. off the roadway. Initially leave well alone, return later or watch from a distance to see if a parent animal comes to recover the young. Do not touch the animal as this may cause the parent to reject it once human scent is smelt.
If you do need assistance contact Brodick Country Park Rangers on 01770 302462 for advice.
If they are not available call Hessilhead wildlife centre for advice on 01505 502415.
If you feel a wildlife crime has been committed inform the local wildlife crime officer on Police 101.
