Sponsorship Packages for the
Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival 2010
A big thank you goes to our Festival Major Sponsors who are listed
below. We are also supported by a number of Event Sponsors who can be
found on our Friends and Parhers Page.
The Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival has proven to
be an excellent showcase for the island's very special wildlife. The
fifth Arran Wildlife Festival will be held between the 12th and 19th of
May 2009. The organising committee is a sub committee of the Arran
Natural History Society.
The
committee has obtained grants from the: Argyll and the Islands Leader
Programme - European Funding; Action for All - Lottery Grants for Local
Groups; Scottish Natural Heritage; North Ayrshire Council; and Arran
Natural History Society. To complete the budget of around £18,000 for
each of the next two years the committee need to raise money. The funds
raised are vital for delivery of the festival and supporting
educational and conservation projects on the island.

Sponsorship of the Arran Wildlife Festival The
Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival attracts hundreds of visitors each year
and has contact with thousands more through publicity material. A new
website is being launched this year. A leaflet with the programme of
events will be distributed island wide and through outlets on the
mainland. In 2008 the Arran Wildlife Festival featured in several
national magazines including RSPBs Birds Magazine, and on BBC Radio
Scotland !
Sponsorship would enable your organisation to support the Arran Wildlife Festival and in return make the most of the publicity.
If
you would like more information about the forthcoming media publicity

Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS)
serves as the forestry department of the Scottish Executive, advising
on and implementing forestry policy and managing the national forest
estate.
Our mission is to protect and expand Scotland's forests and woodlands and increase their value to society and the environment .
We
work with the Scottish Executive, particularly the Environment and
Rural Affairs Department (SEERAD), to deliver the Scottish
Forestry Strategy. We also contribute to many aspects of
wider Scottish Executive policy such as energy, environment and climate
change, biodiversity, healthy living, rural transport, tourism and
education.
We have five conservancies
which carry out our regulatory and grant support functions around
Scotland. They provide advice and information on forestry to
woodland owners.
