Sailing - Isle of Arran - Arran Adventure Company

Our Magnum 21 Trimaran is the ultimate day sailer with the speed of a dinghy and the reassuring feel of a yacht. Fast, stable and incredible fun, it is brilliant for teaching, racing and coastal cruising and can take up to 5 or 6 crew.

Sailing FUNdamentals
A great fun session for those wanting to learn a little about the art of sailing.  Learn how to steer, trim the sails, tack & gybe as you glide through the waters of Brodick or Lamlash Bay.  Suitable for adults and children from 6 years of age.

No previous experience is necessary to enjoy this session, which is very much geared towards beginners or novices. We will introduce you to the basic skills required to sail and if you do have previous experience we will develop your skills in the time available.

Coastal Cruising
Experience the excitement of travelling under sail and enjoy the coastline from a different perspective. We will get used to the boat and practice the basic sailing manoeuvers before heading off to explore.  Suitable for adults and children from 10 years of age.  

Special Offer
In support of the Wildlife Festival and to encourage people to try something new, there is a 50% reduction on sailing and sea kayaking sessions during the festival.  Both of these activities are  ideal for close-up views of marine wildlife, including seals and a huge  variety of  seabirds.  Places are limited, so book early.

Our Location
The Adventure Centre is located in the  grounds of the Auchrannie Spa Resort in Brodick, where you can also call in to ask about activities or cycle routes and hire mountain bikes.
