RSPB  Dawn Chorus - Arran Wildlife Festival

An early morning walk with RSPB to discover the amazing sound of the dawn chorus.

There is nothing more uplifting than listening to the harmonious choir of birds that takes place every morning throughout the spring.  At this time, the birds put on an amazing display as they sing to defend territories and attract mates.

Although it requires a little dedication to get up early, it really is worth the early start to hear a chorus that is normally played out while we sleep!

So why not take this opportunity to join RSPB staff on a low level walk through the woodlands and along the river in Glen Cloy – the perfect setting to hear a range of woodland birds and hear more about the birds behind the songs!

Remember to wrap up well and bring binoculars if you have them.    More Bird Events
